This weekend Democrats around the country fell for one of the oldest political tricks in the book.  You probably recall the Lincoln Douglas Debate where this ploy was first used.  Douglas was the first politician to bite into the concept that Lincoln’s teenage daughter had actually birthed his new born baby and not Lincoln himself.   While that famous debate was not televised you can still almost picture the look on Douglas’ face when he realized his mistake when a Lincoln supporter held up a large photograph of Lincoln in the middle of labor, just as his baby girl was crowning his taint.

That same level of gullibility that sucked in Douglas caught Obama-Biden supporters right between the eyes (the same area of the brain where Feminist doctrine, dogma and modern day sensibility is supposed to reside).  The shock wave went off in their wee little brains like a dolphin stunning a halibut with sonar.  The Demobutts then proceeded to build a band wagon to attack a defenseless 17 year old teenage girl for supposedly giving birth to her baby brother, and convincing her politician mother to take responsibility for her actions, when they should have been focusing on attacking McCain for poor employment screening procedures.

Democrats offered up a number of videos and photographs depicting Governor Palin in various stages of pregnancy hoping to convince people that the Governor wasn’t really pregnant or maybe fool them into believing that the governor was wearing a pregnant suit, with pads and pillows or something.  Just like Douglas over 100 years ago, Democrats accused the Governor of lying about giving birth to her son, and spread sexist and mysogynist attacks around their own websites and the internet. 

The Palin Camp like Lincoln before them, was quick to pounce on their opponents, sexism, fear, and stupidity.  Instead of showing pictures of Palin giving birth to baby son Trig, they simply revealed that Palin’s older daughter was pregnant herself, today, making it almost impossible for her to have gotten pregnant with her current baby, 1 month prior to giving birth to her baby brother, and then continuing to carry her current baby to a ripe old term of 5 months.
